    At Broekbeke you can fish in a unique setting in the heart of the Twente countryside. Our ponds are professionally managed and the fish stock is excellent. We ensure a well-maintained environment where you can enjoy your hobby in complete peace.

    How does it work?

    At Broekbeke you decide how long you want to fish at the Catch & Release pond.

    Register

    Upon arrival, register at our reception hall. We'll open an account in your name.

    Start time

    We record your start time and you can rent equipment if needed.

    Start fishing

    You can now fish at the C&R pond. Snacks and drinks can be added to your tab.

    Stop time

    After fishing, return equipment and we'll record your stop time.

    5

    Pay

    When you're ready to leave, settle your account.

    We have all materials such as rods available for an attractive rental fee. You can also buy various types of bait and we have a small tackle shop.

    Rules

    To ensure the welfare of both fish and angler, we have a number of rules.

    • Entry to the grounds is at your own risk
    • Each angler fishes with 1 rod (April to October)
    • Only barbless hooks, minimum size 12, maximum size 6, allowed
    • Only nylon lines up to 0.35 mm
    • Landing net, unhooking mat and disgorger required
    • All caught fish must be landed with a net
    • All caught fish must be carefully returned after optional photographing
    • Kneel when photographing fish to prevent dropping
    • Rod pods and acoustic bite alarms are allowed as long as fellow anglers are not disturbed
    • Only fish pellets as feed (max 500g per person per half day) — other bait or larger quantities not allowed to protect water quality
    • Hook bait can be freely chosen at Broekbeke (no live fish)
    • Damage to rented equipment through improper use must be compensated
