    Hunting the predatory fish in our trout ponds. Choose between salmon trout and rainbow trout. No reservation required — just come along!

    No fixed start times

    We have no fixed start times. You can start fishing whenever it suits you.

    Continuous fish stocking

    Trout is stocked within half an hour of your starting time for every angler.

    Choose your own duration

    You can fish in blocks of 2, 3 or 4 hours, with the option to extend.

    Take your catch home

    All caught trout can be taken home, smoked or exchanged for smoked trout.

    Trout Ponds

    Hunting the predatory fish in our trout ponds. Choose between salmon trout and rainbow trout. The salmon trout is larger and has a fuller flavour, while the rainbow trout is milder and softer. Can't decide? Try to catch both in our mixed pond.

    Upon arrival you can register for fishing at our reception hall. Here you can also rent or buy all materials (rods/bait/cool box etc.). For every trout angler, fish is stocked in the pond you choose. This way we ensure the fish stock always remains at a good level!

    All caught fish may be taken home. You can also have your catch smoked or exchange it for smoked trout at our smokehouse. Would you like to barbecue your catch at home? We're happy to share recipe tips and sell delicious fish spices!

    No reservation required — just come along. For groups, we recommend booking in advance.

    At Broekbeke you decide which trout pond you want to fish at and for how long.

    Register

    Upon arrival, register at our reception hall. We'll open an account in your name.

    Choose your pond

    Choose from one of our 3 available ponds and rent equipment if needed.

    Choose your time

    You decide, but please let us know in advance for fish stocking purposes.

    Start fishing

    You can now fish at the pond of your choice. Snacks and drinks can be added to your tab.

    Pay

    After fishing, return rented equipment and settle your account.

    Rules

    To ensure the welfare of both fish and angler, we have a number of rules.

    • Entry to the grounds is at your own risk
    • Each angler fishes with 1 rod (April to October)
    • Switching ponds during your session is not allowed (April to October)
    • Scooping uncaught fish is prohibited
    • All species other than trout must be returned
    • Feeding the fish in any form is prohibited
    • Only natural bait or trout paste allowed. Coloured maggots, small fish, fish pieces or lures with treble hooks are not permitted.
    • Spinners and spoons with single hooks are allowed
    • Damage to rented equipment through improper use must be compensated
    • Trout may only be cleaned in the designated cleaning area
