    How does it work?

    At Broekbeke you can decide yourself how long you want to fish at the carp pond.

    Register

    Upon arrival you can register at our pavilion. We'll open an account in your name.

    Start time

    We set your start time at the register and you can rent your equipment if needed.

    3

    Fishing

    You can now go fishing at the carp pond. Any snacks or drinks can be added to your tab.

    Stop time

    After fishing you can return your equipment and have the time stopped.

    5

    Pay

    When you're ready to leave you can settle the bill.

    Regulations

    To ensure the well-being of both fish and angler, we have a number of rules.

    • Entry to the grounds is at your own risk.
    • Each angler fishes with 1 rod (April through October).
    • Choice of rod is free.
    • Only barbless hooks, minimum size 14 maximum size 10, are allowed.
    • Only nylon lines up to a maximum of 0.35 mm.
    • Landing net, unhooking mat and hook remover are mandatory.
    • All caught fish must be netted.
    • All caught fish must, after optionally being photographed, be carefully returned to the water.
    • When taking a photo, kneel down to prevent the fish from falling.
    • Rod pods and acoustic bite alarms are allowed as long as fellow anglers are not disturbed.
    • For feeding or luring, only fish pellets up to a maximum of 500 grams per person per half day are allowed.
    • Due to water quality and fish welfare, other lures and baits or larger quantities of feed are not permitted.
    • Damage to rented equipment due to improper use must be compensated.
